ECHANTÉ
SÉRIE PARISIENNE
ECHANTÉ
In November 2025, I participate in an intensive, mentor-led documentary photography program with Magnum Photos in Paris, working under the mentorship of Peter van Agtmael.
During this time, I developed an original body of work focused on color, observation, and everyday life, forming the foundation for an ongoing gallery exhibition, book project, and print series.
I photographed Paris as a backdrop, with people at the center. This series is not an attempt to define the city or capture it in full. It reflects what I encountered: faces, streets, color, and small moments that shaped my time there. The photographs focus on individuals, those who live in Paris and those passing through.
ARRIVAL
First observations, early frames, learning the pace of the city.
IN SEQUENCE
On the final day of the program, we edited and refined a selection of approximately 30 images from each participant’s work. Peter van Agtmael then sequenced the photographs, not as a collection of individual “best images,” but as a body of work shaped by what functioned best together. The sequence shown here reflects that final edit, emphasizing rhythm, pacing, and visual conversation between frames.
